Email & Notification Preferences

Your consent to electronic communications, which emails and notifications we send, and how to switch them off.

Consent to electronic communications

When you create an account or buy a membership, you agree that Tech Improvement Inc may provide you electronically with the agreements, disclosures, notices, receipts and other communications relating to FootballPlazza, including those the law requires to be "in writing". This is your consent under the US Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and similar laws. We provide them by showing them on the website (for example on your Membership page and in the policies) or by email to the address on your account.

  • What you need: a device with a current web browser, internet access, an email account you can access, and the ability to view and save web pages or print them (every policy has a "Print or save as PDF" button).
  • Keep your email address current: you can change it by contacting [contactEmail — set in Administration].
  • Paper copies: you can ask for a paper copy of any communication at [contactEmail — set in Administration]; we will post it to you free of charge.
  • Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw your consent to electronic communications by closing your account (Account → Privacy & data → Delete account) or by writing to us. Because FootballPlazza is an online service, withdrawing it ends your account and any membership, as described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Service emails (always sent)

We send some emails because they are needed to run your account or membership, whatever your settings: password resets, sign-in and security notices, receipts and payment problems, important changes to your membership, and replies to your requests. These are transactional or relationship messages and contain no advertising.

Alerts, digests and announcements (your choice)

Everything else is optional and off by email until you switch it on in Account → Notifications: match alerts for teams and fixtures you follow, kick-off reminders, daily picks, value edges, the daily parlay, weekly leaderboard results, membership reminders (including a reminder a few days before a renewal), policy updates and announcements from FootballPlazza. You choose the channel for each — in the app, browser push or email.

Messages that mention predictions carry the same short reminder as the website: estimates, not guarantees, for adults only, and not betting advice. We never send betting tips presented as certain, bonus offers or messages from bookmakers.

How to stop emails

Every optional email has a one-click Unsubscribe link and a link to your email preferences in its footer, and most email apps show an unsubscribe button as well. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately for that kind of email (or for all optional emails, if you choose), and we will not ask you to sign in or pay anything to do it. You can also change every channel at any time in Account → Notifications.

Promotional or commercial emails, if we send any, will identify us as the sender, include our postal address (Tech Improvement Inc, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) and an unsubscribe link, and will never use misleading subject lines.

Browser push notifications

Browser notifications are switched on per device, only after you allow them in your browser. You can switch them off in Account → Notifications or in your browser's site settings at any time. Signing out also stops notifications on that browser.

No text messages or calls

FootballPlazza does not send text messages (SMS or MMS) and does not make marketing calls, so we never ask for your phone number. If you receive a text or call claiming to be from FootballPlazza, it is not from us; please report it to [contactEmail — set in Administration].

Questions

Questions about our emails or notifications: [contactEmail — set in Administration]. How we handle the data behind them is explained in the Privacy Policy.
