Copyright & Takedown

How to tell us about content that infringes your rights or is illegal, and what happens next.

Our content

The FootballPlazza site, its text, design, software and forecasts are protected by copyright and database rights owned by Tech Improvement Inc or our licensors. See the Terms of Service for how you may use them.

Reporting infringing or illegal content

If you believe something on FootballPlazza — for example a member's nickname or other content — infringes your copyright or other rights, or is otherwise illegal, send a notice to [contactEmail — set in Administration] with:

  • your name and email address (and, if you act for someone else, who you represent)
  • a description of the work or right concerned, or why the content is illegal
  • the exact web address (URL) or other precise location of the content
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and complete, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them
  • your physical or electronic signature

This procedure also serves as our notice-and-action mechanism under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).

What we do with a notice

We confirm receipt, review the notice promptly and carefully, and remove or disable access to content where appropriate. If we act on content a member added, we tell that member what we did and why, unless the law prevents it, and we tell you the outcome.

If your content was removed

If you think your content was removed by mistake, reply to our message or write to [contactEmail — set in Administration] explaining why. We will review the decision; if we were wrong, we will restore the content. You may also use any out-of-court dispute settlement or court remedies available to you.

Repeat infringement and misuse

We close accounts of members who repeatedly infringe others' rights. We may ignore notices that are manifestly unfounded or repeatedly abusive.

Point of contact

Our single point of contact for users and for authorities, including under the Digital Services Act, is [contactEmail — set in Administration]. We can communicate in English.
