'That's Michael for you' – Littler dig at rival as Neville spots awkward moment

The reigning PDC world champion, 18, produced a perfect leg last month against Mighty Mike in Cardiff.

Littler joined The Overlap crew for a special appearance on the hit podcast Stick to Football, brought to you by Sky Bet.

He took on Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright, Gary Neville and Roy Keane in a special game of 501.

And the 18-year-old talked all things arrows following his remarkable start to 2025.

Littler beat Van Gerwen 7-3 in the PDC World Championship final in January.

But it was the recent nine-darter in the Premier League that caught Neville’s eye.

Van Gerwen was spotted giving a wry smile and then a frown after Littler produced the moment of magic on March 20.

Neville said: “Van Gerwen, he didn’t look that happy about it, did he?”

A laughing Littler cheekily responded: “That’s Michael for you.”

Littler revealed he travels with fellow Prem star Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey as they share the same management team.

But his relationship with The Green Machine remains purely business.

Luke Littler nails incredible nine-darter in epic Premier League final win… just as he predicted hours earlier

He continued: “We’ll talk in the practice room and have banter.

“Try and get into each other’s heads a little bit.

“We throw for the bull to see who goes first in the match. He always asks, ‘You want 3? You want 6 darts?’.

“I go, ‘We’ll have 9, Michael’. Because that’s what we have every time. And I always win.”

Littler also revealed that he barely practices in between tournaments.
