The first of these departures is 37-year-old reserve goalkeeper Fraser Forster, who joined the club in 2022 from Southampton.

He has played 34 times for Spurs, including 13 games this season.

Sergio Reguilon is also leaving the club after joining in 2020.

The Spaniard has been on loan with Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and most recently, Brentford last season during his time at Tottenham.

Overall the 28-year-old played 73 times for the club, scoring twice and assisting nine goals.

Goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman came through the club’s academy but only ever made one appearance for the first team – a Europa League win over Ludogorets in November 2020.

The 26-year-old has had two loan spells with Swedish side Degerfors IF.

Meanwhile, the club have opted against making Timo Werner‘s loan transfer from RB Leipzig into a permanent deal.

The 29-year-old initially joined them on a six-month loan before coming back for the full duration of this season.

However, the ex-Chelsea ace – a Champions League winner in 2021 – only managed three goals and seven assists in 41 games.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will also be saying goodbye to Spurs officially as his loan to Marseille which started last summer becomes a permanent transfer.

In addition to the senior team departures, six players in the development squad – Will Andiyapan, Archie Baptiste, Jahziah Linton, Maxwell McKnight, Max Robson and Jaden Williams – will be leaving at the end of their contracts while Elliot Krasniqi leaves after the end of his three-year scholarship.

Timileyin Adekunle, Dante Orr and Charlie Warren from the Under-18 squad are also leaving.

However, there is one arrival of note to speak of in loanee Kevin Danso, whose move from RC Lens has now been made permanent in a £21million deal.
