ITALY legend Fabio Cannavaro has been sacked by Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
A statement from the club read: “Fabio Cannavaro is no longer the coach of Dinamo’s first team as of this Wednesday.
“He was on the bench of the Maksimir club for a little over three months and led the blue team in 14 competitive and three friendly matches.
“We would like to thank coach Cannavaro from the bottom of our hearts for his great effort, commitment and friendliness and wish him all the best in his future sporting and life journey.
“The team will be temporarily taken over by the current assistant coach, Sandro Perkovic, for the rest of the season.”
